Emails Fraudulentos
Check the email sender's domain
Always check that the domains of the senders of emails are related to the institution that sent them. This precaution is important, although it is not enough to tell whether or not you are facing a fraud attempt.
Check the address of the sites you have been forwarded to
If you are forwarded to a website, check that you are actually on the site you want to go to by looking at the address bar at the top of the page. If you want to access a specific site, enter the address directly into your browser and navigate from there.
Check the links you receive by e-mail
Hover over the links in emails and check what appears in the bar below. If it's from a trusted institution, check that the content is true. If it's not a regular address with a common structure and nomenclature, or if it's not related to the subject, don't click on it.
Check email attachments
Don't open attachments without first making sure that the content is safe.
Don't provide personal information by email, phone call or SMS
Even if requested, do not provide personal and/or confidential information, such as bank card number, login or password, by e-mail, phone call or SMS.
